WoW Armory

The Armory feature on Blizzard's site just got even better (or I just never noticed this feature). While looking at the character sheet (yourself preferably), if you put your cursor over a piece of gear you'll see an arrow appear. Move the cursor over the arrow, then a box appears that, if clicked, will show you upgrades for that particular item. (For instance, I checked out upgrades for my healing mace. The best healing mace is from the Mt. Hjal raid.)

It's pretty fun, and saves searching forever on other sites to find stats and information on gear.

Yah...thats been in there for awhile. It can be useful to get a general feel for what gear is available, but I still prefer wowhead.

But the shinies! Looks like right now my best bet is running heroics (arguments, anyone?) so I can get some of the rewards for turning in badges. Man, that's going to be a long grind...

As far as badges go, I think slave pens is the best one to grind. You get 3 badges, and if done well, takes maybe 90 to 120 minutes if that. I think that might be the only other "quick" heroic may be mech. Any thoughts?

Slave Pens is insanely fast when Chev is tanking, so that is a good place to grind. I've not done Mechanar enough to really remember the length, but most of the Outlands instances are pretty short compared to Azeroth.
