Defense Rating

quick q uestion
i read in forums that a feral druids needs 415 def to be capped..right?
soo i have bin struggling to attain that god forbid its hell
right now its a 399 but be imba says now i got too much..
any advice?

This is a good thing. Defense Rating isn't that great for Druids (Warriors and Paladins it is still good after the crit cap) Resilience is more effective.
Your resilience is covering up your lack of defense.

39.4 Resilence Rating gives you 1% crit reduction.

Also, you still get the extra avoidance if you're over the cap; it's only a soft cap

I think Chev's point is that for Druids specifically, since they can't parry or block, the only thing they get from defense is dodge after the cap, and agility or straight dodge stats are wayyyy better for that. But for the be.imba thing saying you're over the cap, you've got a lot of pvp gear, so a lot of resilience. The point of your defense cap is to remove a mobs chance to crit you,which resilience does as well. The reason warr's/pallies rely so heavily on defense is because they're trying to reach uncrushability. Different cap, you dont have to worry about it as a druid.
