Trapped in the RL

Ashley and I miss you and we're sorry we haven't been on in so long. We've been dealing with some heavy RL issues.

Ashley's dad has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. While it's too early for a reliable prognosis, his long-term situation for appears grave. Ashley has been so understandably upset that we sent her home immediately to be with her father and family. It may be some time before she feeels like logging a few hours behind Biloba.

I will try to get on again after I've cleared some deadlines at work. Although my gaming computer remains functional, it's still so slow that the "fun" is often balanced or even exceeded by frustration. I continue to try and identify what is responsible.
