So...players don't need to get attuned (a.k.a. get the key) for Karazhan, and yet someone in the group will need the key to actually enter through the gates. Great...it's upper Blackrock Mountain all over again! I was so hoping for an end to, "Group looking for someone with key to _____" spamming the channels...
I would think it's still worth doing the attunement quests, since among other things, you have chances to build rep and hopefully get good gear drops as you prepare for the raid instance. No 'noobs' walking into Karazhan wearing nothing but greens, and seeing nothing wrong with that.
